What tells you it is spring? How do other kinds of organisms know it is spring, and what does that mean for them? Join us in looking for signs of spring around Prairie Ridge for this program for adults and learn how you can contribute your own observations to phenology monitoring efforts. Following our walk we will return to the classroom for a zine-making workshop on time, memory, seasons, and the profound that take place around us each year and connect us to the more-than-human world.
Come dressed for the weather wearing closed toed shoes and ready for a walk of about a half mile over uneven ground, and bring a notebook and water. Zine-making materials will be provided.
