Lifelong Adventure: Crystal Coast

We’ll stay right on the beach for explorations of natural areas along the Crystal Coast, also known as the Southern Banks. Short to moderate hikes in maritime forests, tidal marshes, Longleaf Pine forests and a rare limestone Bald Cypress swamp are all on the itinerary.
Hotel lodging reservation information will be emailed to registrants.

Please note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact, physician contact and health information (allergies, conditions, medications relevant to this field experience). Take a moment to gather this information before beginning your registration.

  • Fee: $90 per participant; $76.50 per member participant. (Fee covers travel, admission fees and staff. Participant pays for lodging and meals.)
  • Requirements: Minimum age 18.
  • Cancellation Notice: Refunds only issued if the Museum cancels the trip, or if cancellation is made in one of the following ways at least two weeks prior to the trip date: Either in writing via email to Missy Chernick or through the Museum box office (919.707.9950). We cannot issue credits, rain checks, or transfers for these trips.
