Dueling Dinosaurs

The Friends of the Museum are thrilled to bring the Dueling Dinosaurs, a magnificent pair of the world’s most popular dinosaurs, a tyrannosaur and a Triceratops, to downtown Raleigh!

Your donation to the Dueling Dinosaurs will enable Museum scientists to conduct research and present educational activities in a new one-of-a-kind paleontology lab and exhibit that will touch thousands of families, schoolchildren, educators and lifelong learners and fans of dinosaurs.

You can learn more about the project and follow along for real-time scientific discoveries here.

MARY ANN BRITTAIN EDUCATION CENTER AT PRAIRIE RIDGE

Prairie Ridge Ecostation, a 45-acre outdoor education facility and nature preserve in Raleigh, is one of the Museum’s most valuable tools for teaching people of all walks of life about the natural world and our local environment. Our newest initiative is the construction of an Education Center, which will allow for year-round educational programming and increased accessibility for guests with disabilities. Your donation to the Mary Ann Brittain Education Center at Prairie Ridge will allow us to reach more diverse populations and educate more guests on the importance of the natural world in our own backyard.

For more information on the Mary Ann Brittain Education Center contact Sarah Lowder at sarah.lowder@naturalsciences.org or 919.819.3620.

PLANNED GIVING

Passionate about supporting the Museum’s mission even after your lifetime? It’s not only possible, it’s easy to do, with a planned gift. Creating a bequest or charitable gift annuity, or giving appreciated stock, may offer better tax savings for you than an outright gift of cash. In addition, some planned gifts can give you guaranteed income for life.
