VOLUNTARIOS<\/h3>\n

\u00bfQuieres formar parte de nuestro equipo del D\u00eda de la Ciencia y la Cultura? \u00a1Participa como voluntario con nosotros! Existen muchas actividades para nuestros voluntatios, desde la log\u00edstica (ayuda con la colocaci\u00f3n y la recogida de las estaciones, servicio de comidas, conteo de visitantes, venta de camisetas, etc.), hasta participar en estaciones educativas, de manualidades y actividades para ni\u00f1os. \u00a1Una manera muy divertida de conocer a fondo el evento! Los voluntarios que trabajan dos o m\u00e1s turnos reciben almuerzo gratis.<\/p>\n

Para ser voluntario hay que tener al menos 13 a\u00f1os de edad. Si tienes entre 10 y 13 a\u00f1os, puedes ser voluntario pero deber\u00e1s estar acompa\u00f1ado en todo momento de uno de tus progenitores o tutores (el formulario deber\u00e1 rellenarlo el adulto).<\/p>\n

This fully bilingual (Spanish-English) event, which is presented by the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, the Consulate General of Mexico and the RedGlobalMX Raleigh Chapter, will celebrate and promote science and culture.Enjoy engaging talks, interactive exhibits and hands-on activities with scientists and educators. Explore exhibits blending science with cultural traditions and history and participate in fun educational activities for all ages.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re a science enthusiast, student, or just curious, there’s something for everyone.<\/p>\n

This event is open to the public and free of charge.<\/p>\n

Assisted Listening Devices (ALDs)

Assisted Listening Devices are available upon request on a first-come first-served basis. To reserve a device, please contact Michael Lewis at 919.707.9821 or Michael.Lewis@naturalsciences.org<\/a>. Provide your first and last name and the time period for which you will need an ALD. Numbers are limited so reserve ALDs as early as possible.<\/p>\n

Volunteers<\/h3>\n

Want to be part of D\u00eda de la Ciencia y la Cultura? Volunteer with us! Volunteer jobs span logistics (set up, breakdown, meal service, counting visitors, etc.), running educational stations and kids\u2019 crafts and activities! It\u2019s loads of fun and you get an in-depth experience of the event! Volunteers who work two or more shifts get free lunch.<\/p>\n

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old to volunteer without a parent. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old to volunteer with a parent (please have your parent\/guardian fill out the form with you).<\/p>\n
