Discover the challenges and rewards of fieldwork, learn about the journey of a bird through the collection, and gain a deeper appreciation for the vital role of collections in biodiversity research.<\/p>\n<h3>About our presenter<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Kira Nuviae<\/strong> is double majoring in fisheries &amp; wildlife biology and biochemistry at North Carolina State University. She previously interned with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission&#8217;s Habitat Conservation Division and is a current Museum Ornithology Lab Technician.
