Join us for a nature journaling scavenger hunt around Prairie Ridge! As explorers and young scientists, honing our observation skills is a great way to see more of the nature around you \u2013 and nature journaling is a great tool to help with that! Through our nature journals we\u2019ll go on a journey of exploration as we look for the little details around us and document our finds in our journals.<\/p>\n
This is a free program beginning at 10:30am in the Outdoor Classroom (a short walk down the gravel road from the parking lot). Please register here<\/a> so we know how many nature journals we\u2019ll need! Participants will receive a nature journal and will then embark on an exciting nature-themed scavenger hunt. Come dressed for the weather and prepared to take a walk. This program is designed for children ages 3 to 10 and includes a walk on grass- and gravel-covered paths.
