Jeremy Markovich<\/strong> is a longtime journalist, writer, producer and podcast host in North Carolina, who’s traveled from one side of this state to the other in search of weird and wonderful stories. Along the way, he’s won two regional Emmy awards, and his work has been featured in the Best American Sports Writing. He now works at Wake Forest University, writes the “North Carolina Rabbit Hole” newsletter and hosts a podcast: “Away Message.” He lives near Greensboro with his wife and two children, and used to get more sleep than he does now.
