Form (or structure) and function (or physiology) are linked in all life forms. Organisms are adapted to their environments in numerous ways, including through their structure and physiology. This presentation will explore a few of the relationships among form, function and adaptation in both humans and stream invertebrates.<\/p>\n<h3>About our speaker<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Dr. Karen Kandl<\/strong> is a biology professor at Western Carolina University. Her teaching interests include anatomy and physiology, ecology and evolution.
