It’s World Honey Bee Day! Join an NC certified beekeeper and learn about these beloved insects. We’ll talk about their lives in the hive, how they make honey and wax, and then reveal a dark secret about these hard-working pollinators!<\/p>\n
This program is for adults ages 18+. No prior knowledge needed. We will start in the classroom and then go to the garden and look for honey bees at work, so please bring water and wear closed-toed shoes. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. It will “bee” fun!<\/p>\n
