We will hike through the world\u2019s largest population of the federally endangered Smooth Coneflower near peak bloom at this nationally significant natural site. We will explore the unique diabase geology of the area and learn why it resulted in such a rare plant community in Piedmont North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Please note:<\/strong> You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact, physician contact and health information (allergies, conditions, medications relevant to this field experience).
