The NC Bird Atlas is a 5-year statewide community science project using the power of thousands of volunteer birders to map the distribution and abundance of birds in North Carolina. These observations will give researchers a comprehensive picture of our state\u2019s bird populations. Scott Anderson<\/strong>, Bird Conservation Biologist with the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, will outline the purpose of the atlas, its progress thus far, and how you can contribute.<\/p>\n
