Visit Prairie Ridge for our next StoryWalk\u00ae featuring Plants Can\u2019t Sit Still, by Rebecca E. Hirsch and Mia Posada. Our story begins just inside our entry gates and will take you on a short trail as you learn about plants. What amazing plants will you find as you explore?<\/p>\n
Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy, dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch, dirt or grass and small hills are included \u2014 trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!).<\/p>\n
This StoryWalk\u00ae will be available October 16\u201430. Prairie Ridge is open 9am\u20134pm Tuesday-Saturday; closed on Sundays and Mondays.<\/p>\n
This activity is FREE and no registration is required.<\/p>\n
We strongly encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated for COVID-19 to continue wearing masks and practicing social distancing while visiting our facilities. Face coverings are recommended while near others or in the restroom building for children between the ages of 5 and 12 and individuals who are not fully vaccinated. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness, we ask that you postpone your visit.<\/p>\n
