On our journey, the NCMNS&#8217;s own Dr. Rachel Smith will pilot fly-through-the-Universe software called OpenSpace as we focus on the structure of the Solar System and the origins of Earth and the super-dense planet Mercury!<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Ebel is a geologist specializing in meteorites: pieces of planets and &#8220;leftovers&#8221; from the formation of the solar system. The distant, resource-rich asteroid belt is his field area.
