If you ABSOLUTELY love spiders or if you are terrified of them and need some exposure therapy, this is the event for you!<\/p>\n<p>Join us at our August Museum Movie Night: Where Science Meets the Cinema, where we will be featuring the 1960 West German horror film,&#8221;Horrors of Spider Island.&#8221; Nick Allen, Curator of the Museum&#8217;s Arthropod Zoo, will be our expert on all things arachnid to answer your questions and teach us more about the film\u2019s terrifying villain: the spider. You can ask them questions, share your knowledge, and enhance your movie night experience!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Register on this page. We will email you a Zoom link with everything you need to know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Step 2: At 6 pm on August 27 , log into Zoom using the link you receive upon registration. We\u2019ll present a short from the AV Geeks\u2019 archive and prepare you for the movie.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Let\u2019s start the movie! We will be streaming the movie within Zoom. Join the live chat while you stream. (No spoilers please!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> After the film, we\u2019ll chat with our science expert in a Q&amp;A session where we\u2019ll learn about the science behind the film.
