Join us at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Whiteville where we will embark on a prehistoric adventure. Learn how to capture young children\u2019s excitement about the latest dinosaur discoveries to spark a love of science learning. This year\u2019s workshop will focus on <em>Triceratops<\/em> and <em>Tyrannosaurus rex<\/em>, which are not only some of the most popular dinosaurs but the centerpieces of the Museum\u2019s newest dinosaur acquisition \u2013 the Dueling Dinosaurs.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the workshop, eligible teachers will receive one hundred dollars&#8217; worth of science, math and literacy materials, a dinosaur tote bag, and an activity-filled flash drive. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Credit:<\/strong> 2.5 CEUs for Early Childhood Renewal Credit; 2.5 contact hours toward CEUs or Criteria III for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenorthcarolina.org\/certification\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">North Carolina&#8217;s Environmental Education Certification Program<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration information: This program is full.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> To be eligible to receive the $100 worth of materials, registrants must primarily be educators of preschool children ages 3 to 5 years old. Additionally, over 51% of your students must be from low to moderate income (LMI) families.
