Join us as we dive into the world of birds, providing educators with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to integrate birds into classroom lessons. Learn about basic bird biology, build observation skills through the lens of bird watching, and learn how to integrate avian citizen science into your classroom. Educators will leave this workshop with a new understanding of bird ecology, as well as how to integrate birds into classroom learning. Participants will leave with lesson plans, activities, and additional resources to support classroom implementation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility: <\/strong>This workshop is educators (includes teachers, administrators, pre-service or substitute teachers; non-formal educators; anyone working on their EE certification).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Credit:<\/strong> 7 contact hours toward CEUs or Criteria II\/III for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eenorthcarolina.org\/certification\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Carolina\u2019s Environmental Education Certification Program\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/naturalsciences.ticketapp.org\/portal\/product\/73\/event\/f5d85a33-4ea4-4cfe-b9f9-8189bcfe16df\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Register online<\/a><\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong>The full workshop fee is due when you register and payment is via credit card.
