We head east, as far as we can, to explore the barrier islands that make up the Outer Banks. Our adventure will include birding at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, hiking in the maritime forest of Nags Head Woods and scrambling up the huge sand dune of Jockey\u2019s Ridge State Park.<\/p>\n
