Join us for our Kids\u2019 Outdoor Clothing & Gear Swap! New and lightly used children\u2019s outdoor clothes, shoes, inclement-weather gear, baby carriers, and more will be available \u2013 free \u2013 for you to take home. Interesting in donating items to the swap? Bring them day-of or reach out to Emma (emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org) to drop things off before the event. In addition to outdoor gear, we\u2019ll also be collecting unused mini toiletries for Oak City Cares \u2013 so clean out those bathroom cabinets while you\u2019re digging through your closets!<\/p>\n
The clothing swap will take place at the picnic table area adjacent to the Nature PlaySpace. When you\u2019re done with your swapping needs, head to the Nature PlaySpace where we\u2019ll also be having a Nature Play Day! Please make sure your children are with you as you move between the areas.<\/p>\n
This is a free drop-in program beginning at 10:00am. All items included in the swap will be sourced through donations. We cannot guarantee the availability of specific sizes or types of items.<\/p>\n
