{"id":108295,"date":"2025-03-15T14:14:15","date_gmt":"2025-03-15T18:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/naturalsciences.org\/calendar\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=108295"},"modified":"2025-03-15T14:14:15","modified_gmt":"2025-03-15T18:14:15","slug":"beyond-the-binoculars","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/naturalsciences.org\/calendar\/event\/beyond-the-binoculars\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond the Binoculars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City Nature Challenge is an international event focused on documenting biodiversity.\u00a0 Join us to document the birds of Prairie Ridge so our local species become a part of the event!\u00a0 Bring a camera of any sort (phone, point and shoot, DSLR or mirrorless) and be ready to learn about birds and how to share your observations for the City Nature Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Please come dressed for the weather as we will be outside the entire length of the program, though we will be in a covered space part of our time together.\u00a0 Bring a filled water bottle.\u00a0 If you have a pair of binoculars you love, bring them, but we&#8217;ll provide them to anyone who wants them.\u00a0 We also have binoculars adapters so you can connect your phone to take better photos of birds from further away.
