The City Nature Challenge is an international event focused on documenting biodiversity.\u00a0 Join us to document the birds of Prairie Ridge so our local species become a part of the event!\u00a0 Bring a camera of any sort (phone, point and shoot, DSLR or mirrorless) and be ready to learn about birds and how to share your observations for the City Nature Challenge.<\/p>\n
Please come dressed for the weather as we will be outside the entire length of the program, though we will be in a covered space part of our time together.\u00a0 Bring a filled water bottle.\u00a0 If you have a pair of binoculars you love, bring them, but we’ll provide them to anyone who wants them.\u00a0 We also have binoculars adapters so you can connect your phone to take better photos of birds from further away. If possible, download the iNaturalist app and create an account prior to the start of the program.<\/p>\n
