Join a North Carolina Certified Beekeeper to explore the life of bees – where they live, what they eat, and how they behave. We’ll talk about ways you can encourage bees to visit your yard and garden, and how to observe them safely. Bring your bee questions and we’ll try to answer them!<\/p>\n
This program is for ages 10 and up. We will meet in the classroom building, just a short walk down the gravel path, and then go out into the garden and prairie to look for bees. Water, hat and sunscreen are recommended. Please wear close-toed shoes and dress for the weather.
