Learn about sea turtles and possibly witness the hatching of sea turtles on Topsail Island.\u00a0 Participants will spend evenings on the beach \u201cnest sitting\u201d — waiting for baby loggerhead sea turtles to leave their sandy nests.\u00a0 Daytime hours can be spent swimming, beach combing or catching up on sleep.\u00a0 We will also visit the Topsail Sea Turtle Hospital to learn about their work in caring for sick and injured sea turtles.<\/p>\n

Participants are responsible for motel reservations and costs.\u00a0 Lodging information will be given upon completion of registration.<\/p>\n

Please note:<\/strong> You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact, physician contact and health information (allergies, conditions, medications relevant to this field experience). Take a moment to gather this information before beginning your registration.<\/em><\/p>\n
