Put on your field scientist hats and let\u2019s go! Whether looking for salamanders in our stream, catching dragonflies by the pond, or helping check nest boxes, each day we\u2019ll dive into the different habitats of Prairie Ridge and the organisms that live in these spaces through hands-on, outdoor experiences. Each day will be unique, as we modify programming to reflect what\u2019s going on in nature! Will we be searching for ladybugs? Helping collect data on our purple martin colony? Getting creative with nature art? Join us and find out!<\/p>\n

Summer Nature Adventures for Middle Schoolers is a three-day, partial-day “mini-camp” for students entering grades 6 through 8 in Fall 2023.<\/p>\n

Participants should expect to be entirely outdoors, bring a packed snack and lunch, and be ready to have fun outside!<\/p>\n

This program requires registration and costs $100 for Friends of the Museum Members, and $115 for non-members.<\/p>\n

Please note that completion of this form does not guarantee your child\u2019s spot in this program, as participants will be enrolled on a first-come, first-serve basis until all spots have been filled.
