Last year, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle distributed more than 8.9 million pounds of food to our neighbors in need \u2014 of which 6.3 million pounds was prevented from reaching landfills. Take a journey through the Food Bank supply chain, beginning with a look at Food Recovery 101. You\u2019ll get up close and personal with the reality of expiration dates\u2014they\u2019re not really the end-all and be-all! And then learn the hows and whys behind food that\u2019s edible even though it might not be saleable.<\/p>\n
