SUMMARY:Lifelong Hike: Umstead State Park
DESCRIPTION:We will explore Umstead State Park looking for signs of fall. First opened in 1937\, Umstead State Park is now an oasis of nature surrounded by one of the state’s largest metropolitan populations. Our hike will include a hike along picturesque Pott’s Branch plus the Oak Rock Trail for a total distance of about two miles. \nPlease note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact\, physician contact and health information (allergies\, conditions\, medications relevant to this field experience).
