DESCRIPTION:Join us in-person in the SECU Daily Planet Theater or watch the livestream on YouTube Live. \nGovernor Josh Stein appointed Reid Wilson to be Secretary of the Department of Environmental Quality in January 2025. For the previous four years\, Wilson was Secretary of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources under Governor Roy Cooper. Now\, as Secretary of the lead stewardship agency for the protection of North Carolina’s air\, water\, and land\, he draws on his diverse career experiences in the public and private sectors to create innovative strategies for our state’s environmental future.
