DESCRIPTION:Science will be with you\, always.\nJoin Museum scientists\, educators\, and sci-fi/fantasy fans for a day of special presentations celebrating May the Fourth! \n\nGo inside the globe of the SECU Daily Planet Theater to meet experts and explore real world science and nature with inspiration from that galaxy far away. 1st floor\, Nature Research Center\nCheck out the Galactic Naturalist in the Naturalist Center to meet real-world inspiration for galactic fauna. 2nd floor\, Nature Research Center\nUse the Force in the Investigate Lab to save microorganisms and minerals from the Dark Side. 3rd floor\, Nature Research Center\nWatch live as the VisLab’s numerous 3D printers create famous models from the Star Wars universe including the Millennium Falcon and Luke’s Light Saber. 3rd floor\, Nature Research Center\n\nThis IS the event you’ve been looking for. Costumes encouraged! \n  \n\nSECU Daily Planet Theater: Schedule of Activities\nNoon— Force of Science\nSee amazing science demonstrations with Science Master Chris Smith \n1:00pm — Exoplanets\, Interstellar Travel\, and Galactic Civilizations: Science in the Star Wars Universe\nDr. Rachel Smith\, Head of the Astronomy & Astrophysics Research Lab \n2:30pm — Midi-chlorians or Mitochondria\, What Powers You?\nDr. Marianne Barrier\, Lab Manager and Acting Head\, Genomics & Microbiology Research Lab \n\n\nCOSTUME AND MASK POLICY \n\nFor the safety of all visitors\, we ask that guests wearing masks or items that obscure their face remove those items during the check-in process. After checking in\, guests are welcome to wear those items in the event.\nCostumes should not contain any elements that resemble\, or could easily be mistaken for\, an actual weapon.\nShoes are required. Bare feet are not allowed.\nThe Museum reserves the right to turn away any guest with a costume that we deem offensive or unsafe.
