DESCRIPTION:Do you love looking at maps\, curious about how people make maps\, or wanted to make your own? Join us for a special program for ages 12+ where we learn about some of the many ways people have constructed maps throughout history and create our own maps of Prairie Ridge. Through the context of maps\, we will also learn about ways that you can contribute to collaborative science projects working to actively understand and conserve ecosystems here and around the world. We will meet at the building adjacent to the parking lot before heading down to the outdoor classroom. Lay siege to Gondor\, dance with dragons and show off your Tolkien trivia at this adults 21+ event. \nEnjoy a unique opportunity to experience the Museum at night while exploring the uncensored side of science. The event features interactive science stations\, music\, games\, local entertainment and special activities. Beer\, wine\, themed cocktails and food will be available for purchase. Costumes encouraged (but not required). \nTickets: $25; $15 Members. You must be 21 years or older to attend. A photo ID is required for entry. \n  \nBUY TICKETS \n\n \nCOSTUME POLICY \n\nGuests wearing masks must remove them during check-in. They can then wear them during the event.\n\n  \n\nOutfits should not contain elements that resemble or could be mistaken for a real weapon.\n\n  \n\nWe reserve the right to refuse a guest wearing a costume deemed offensive or unsafe.\n\n  \n\nAny face or body paint must not obscure an attendee’s identity.\n\n\nFootwear is required.\n\n
