SUMMARY:Guided Tree Walk
DESCRIPTION:Explore the Jesse P. Perry III Arboretum at Prairie Ridge and get to know our local trees! On this 1-to-2-mile hike\, we’ll dive into the basics of tree identification and share interesting facts about ten different species each session. You’ll also discover how to become a contributor to Nature’s Notebook\, a collaborative science project where you can help researchers by tracking the life cycles of plants and animals throughout the seasons. \nThis program welcomes ages 12+.  All children must be accompanied by an adult throughout our time together. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes. This program repeats monthly with varying tree species. We will meet in front of the building before walking as a group down the trails. \nRegistration is required to attend this program. \nRegister
