DESCRIPTION:Come out and play! The Nature PlaySpace will be stocked with extra-special materials and supplies and a play facilitator will be present to help you play your way. Supplies may vary from week to week\, but may include fun things like fort-building equipment\, puppets and costumes\, bubbles\, giant blocks and more. \nThis is a free\, drop-in event. Staff and supplies will be available from 10am to noon. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get messy! Everyone is welcome at the Nature PlaySpace\, but it has been designed especially for kids 7 and younger. \nPlease note that this program occurs at the Museum’s Prairie Ridge Ecostation location in west Raleigh. We apologize for any inconvenience. \nSharpen your observation skills and explore your nature neighborhood through the lens of nature journaling. Learn through practice as we try out a variety of different journaling activities involving writing\, drawing\, and data collection. \nCredit: 6 contact hours toward CEUs and Criteria II for North Carolina’s Environmental Education Certification Program\nUpon completion of the Trek\, you will receive a Certificate of Course Completion that includes the number of contact hours to turn in for CEUs. For those seeking Environmental Education Certification\, you will also receive an EE Form for up to 6 hours of credit. \nNote: We do not want cost to be a barrier for any educator.
