DESCRIPTION:Our mountain adventure will include two three-mile hikes on successive days to explore the massive granite domes of Stone Mountain and enjoy the grand views from some lofty heights. Accommodations and meals are provided by the Laurel Ridge Retreat Center just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. This clawed crustacean is formidable and feisty with a tough exoskeleton to help it survive. Many crustaceans incorporate minerals like lime into their exoskeleton\, which thickens and strengthens it. \nThis walk-up program is offered: \n\nTuesday and Saturday — 1:30pm\n\nLocation: Nature Exploration Center\, 4th floor\, Arthropod Zoo. \nNo registration required.
