DESCRIPTION:Did you know that we have ghost fireflies in the Piedmont?  Join us for this program for ages 14+ to survey Prairie Ridge to see if our sites hosts these amazing insects!  We’ll start with a brief introduction to the ghost fireflies and the protocols for data collection if we spot them\, then we’ll spend 30-45 minutes in the woods looking for trails of blue firefly light. Dress for the weather\, wear closed toed shoes\, bring a flashlight\, water\, and an optional chair\, and you’ll be ready to look for small fireflies with us! \nRegistration is required to attend this program. \nRegister
