SUMMARY:Little Bird Buddies
DESCRIPTION:In the springtime\, lots of birds are building nests and laying eggs – this makes it a great time to learn all about the different birds that call North Carolina home! Join us as we explore different bird species\, \nnests\, and more through hands-on activities and play. Designed for early childhood audiences (ages 7 and under)\, this program will provide interactive observations and engagement as we learn about the birds found at Prairie Ridge\, and in your own neighborhood! \nThis is a free\, drop-in program beginning at 10:30am at the picnic tables right outside of the Nature PlaySpace. Be sure to wear appropriate clothes for the weather and bring a water bottle. Trails to the PlaySpace are mulch\, dirt or grass and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. Bring a picnic and enjoy the day (but please pack out your trash!). \nFor more information\, contact prairieridge@naturalscience.org.

He investigates how mass extinctions shaped the modern vertebrate lineage\, including the origins of mammals\, dinosaurs\, and other iconic groups.
