SUMMARY:Art Outdoors: Weaving Hearts
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we explore art outdoors\, mixing natural materials with traditional art disciplines\, testing new nature-based art techniques\, and using inspiration from nature to create artistic masterpieces. \nEach day will feature a different outdoor art activity – today’s activity is weaving hearts! Join us as we weave natural materials into recycled cardboard hearts\, bringing some nature joy to the season of love! \nThis drop-in program is designed for kids ages 7 and under and occurs outdoors from 10:30am – 11:30am at the picnic tables below the Nature PlaySpace. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Come dressed for the weather and prepared to get messy! \nArt Outdoors is a free program\, with a suggested donation of $5/child. DESCRIPTION:Join us for classes designed especially for homeschool and track-out students. These 90-minute classes allow us to delve deeper into topics and incorporate additional learning experiences. \nOne of winter’s most noticeable characteristics is the change in temperature. Join us as we explore how colder temperatures impact the landscapes at Prairie Ridge through observation\, experimentation\, and discovery.   \nParticipants must be 5 to 8 years old for this program.   \nThis is a drop-off program. Adults need to remain onsite or nearby during the program.
