DESCRIPTION:Enjoy seeing butterflies but not sure how to start identifying them? What’s the difference between a butterfly and a moth? Join us for a laid back adult program where you’ll learn the basics of identifying common butterflies and their sometimes weird behaviors. \nThis program is for adults 18 and up. Please dress for the weather as we will be outdoors the entire time. We will meet in the outdoor classroom\, which is a 2-3 minute walk down the gravel  path. \nRegister here

SUMMARY:Art of Science: Fireflies and String Art
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Science series is for adults who like to blend science and art. Each program will include hands-on experience with a citizen science project paired with an associated art project. Participants will take home their project\, supplies\, and tools.\n\nIn this program\, we will explore documenting fireflies as well as make a LED lit string art project. Instructions for collecting and submitting data and making your string art will be provided during the program — no experience required! Your program fee covers the supplies needed to make one 12″x12″ string art panel and tools to keep.\n\nCost is $25 or $23 for NCMNS members.\n\nRegister here
