DESCRIPTION:Come out and play on an extra-special day! The Nature PlaySpace will be stocked with Earth Day themed materials and activities\, and a play facilitator will be present to help you play your way. Our usual supplies can vary\, but this week’s may include environmentally-mindful fun like recyclable fort building\, animal puppets\, up close nature exploration\, or dressing up like an Earth superhero! \nThis is a free\, drop-in event in the Nature PlaySpace. Staff and supplies will be available from 10am to noon. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get messy! Everyone is welcome at the Nature PlaySpace\, but it has been designed especially for kids 7 and younger. \nFor more information\, contact Kiersten Bowser at kiersten.bowser@naturalsciences.org.

SUMMARY:PBS NC's State of Change: Living with Water Screening and Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Please join us in person (or virtually) on Tuesday\, April 22\, at 7 PM\, for a special screening of State of Change: Living with Water followed by a panel discussion with local subject-matter experts from around the state who will provide an up-close look at climate change issues and answer your questions in-person and via the virtual chat. \nPBS North Carolina launched the State of Change project to personalize the impact of climate change\, provide details about the science of the challenges\, share solutions to combat the issues and develop resiliency to adapt to it. \nState of Change: Living with Water comes to PBS NC this April with stories of North Carolinians across the state who have responded to the challenges of climate change in new and innovative ways.
