DESCRIPTION:The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a massive international citizen science event where people count and report the birds they see over a four-day period in February. Join us to learn the basics of bird identification (ID) in this virtual program so you can participate in the GBBC too! We’ll cover the four keys to bird ID\, how to make a good observation\, identification resources and how to collect and submit your data to eBird for the GBBC. This program is perfect for beginning birders ages 10+! \nThis virtual program requires pre-registration.

Craft microscopic love notes\, marvel at Valentine’s Day gemstones\, and meet the live animal ambassadors of their species’ amorous connections. Get ready to fall in love with science! \nAdult Nights are a unique opportunity to experience the Museum at night while exploring the uncensored side of science. The event features interactive science stations\, music\, games\, local entertainment and special activities. Beer\, wine\, themed cocktails and mocktails\, and food will be available for purchase. \nTickets: $25; $15 Members. You must be 21 years or older to attend.
