SUMMARY:Lifelong Hike: Medoc Mountain State Park
DESCRIPTION:We will head east (yes\, we have a mountain east of us) from Raleigh to hike the trails of Medoc Mountain State Park. Medoc Mountain was once part of a mighty range of mountains but\, after 300 million years of erosion\, it is a mere 325 feet above sea level. Our hike will explore the geology\, plants and animals of this rare “coastal plain mountain.” \nPlease note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact\, physician contact and health information (allergies\, conditions\, medications relevant to this field experience).
