SUMMARY:Art of Science: Biodiversity and Painted Paper Collages
DESCRIPTION:The Art of Science series is for adults who like to blend science and art. Each program will include hands-on experience with a citizen science project paired with an associated art project. Participants will take home their project and tools so they can make additional projects on their own. \nIn this program\, we will explore biodiversity documentation and make painted paper collages! Instructions for collecting and submitting biodiversity data and making your collage will be provided during the program — no experience required. Your program fee covers ample supplies to make multiple nature-themed collages. Come prepared to get a little messy! \nPre-registration is required for this adult-only in-person program and there is a fee to attend ($22 members\, $24 non-members) \nRegister here\nThis program will be conducted entirely outdoors\, largely in a covered space that is exposed to the outdoors. Please come prepared for a short walk over uneven terrain by wearing sturdy closed-toed shoes and dressing for the weather.
