DESCRIPTION:Join us on a cool paddle on a hot July day on the Dan River near Hanging Rock State Park. This is an easy 6-mile paddle with a few small rapids to make it fun. This is a great paddle for all experience levels including beginners. Kayaks\, paddling gear and travel included. \nPlease note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact\, physician contact and health information (allergies\, conditions\, medications relevant to this field experience). DESCRIPTION:Our summer birds have arrived! Join us as we explore the many and varied birds of North Carolina through interactive engagement with props and sounds\, as well as a short\, staff-led bird walk.  This program is designed to engage early childhood audiences (ages 7 and below) as we learn about the birds found at Prairie Ridge\, and in your own neighborhood! \nPlease wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, appropriate dress for the weather\, and bring a water bottle.
