SUMMARY:City Nature Challenge After Dark
DESCRIPTION:Discover Prairie Ridge after hours for the City Nature Challenge! Come to explore on your own or join a naturalist for a dusk walk from 7:30-8:30. We’ll gather at the Outdoor Classroom from 8:00-9:30 to look for insects and other animals attracted to our light stations after dark. Please bring a camera or smartphone with you as you’ll want to document your finds for the City Nature Challenge! \nPlease dress for the weather\, including closed toed shoes and long pants. Bring a flashlight\, a camera or smartphone\, and a filled water bottle. The walk will start in the Outdoor Classroom at 7:30. The light stations will be available throughout the program\, but are best viewed in the last hour. This program is recommended for ages 8 and up.
