In this program\, we’ll get an inside look at the lives and careers of guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds\, whose stories may not fit the mold of an “average” professional in their field! Join us to learn about the barriers\, successes and unique experiences they’ve had on their journeys. \nThis month\, we’ll learn about cosmetic science with Dr. Julian Sass! \nDr. Julian Sass is a key figure in the cosmetic science field\, merging rigorous scientific inquiry with a passion for public education and skin health advocacy\, and a talent for demystifying complex scientific concepts for a diverse audience. His academic journey ended in a PhD in Biomathematics and Statistics from North Carolina State University. He entered the personal care industry after graduating\, and his work spans multinational corporations and emerging indie brands. His social media is dedicated to explaining the science of personal care products. One of Dr. Sass’s most notable contributions is the creation of a sunscreen database\, which empowers individuals\, particularly those with darker skin tones\, to make informed decisions about sun protection. \nLearn more about Dr. Sass’s work on his Instagram and website. \nREGISTER NOW!
