Join us to learn the basics of bird identification (ID) in this hands-on program\, so you can participate in the GBBC too! We’ll cover the four keys to bird ID\, how to make a good observation\, identification resources and how to collect and submit your data to eBird for the GBBC. Stop by our Outdoor Classroom to pick up a Bird Bingo sheet or an eBird datasheet\, practice using binoculars from our deck\, or look through our field guides before heading out to look for birds. We’ll have staff on hand to help you choose good birdwatching spots\, answer questions about the GBBC\, and help you identify the birds you see and submit them to eBird.
