SUMMARY:Lifelong Adventure: Geminid Meteor Shower
DESCRIPTION:We will travel to the NC Museum of Natural Sciences at Contentnea Creek in Pitt County and stay up all night to catch the peak of the Geminid Meteor Shower\, the grand finale of the 2023 meteor showers!  The remote darkness of their outdoor campus will be a perfect place to learn about the night sky and watch one of the best meteor showers of the year. With clear skies\, over 100 meteors per hour are possible during the early morning peak. We will provide lots of hot chocolate to keep you going all night! \nPlease note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact\, physician contact and health information (allergies\, conditions\, medications relevant to this field experience).
