DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Earth Day at Prairie Ridge with an Earth Day-themed Nature Play Day! In addition to our usual Nature Play Day fun\, we’ll have some special Earth Day-themed objects and activities available for folks to engage with! \nWhile having fun in the Nature PlaySpace\, make sure to take a moment to explore the Kids’ Outdoor Clothing/Gear Swap happening on the nearby picnic table area. New and lightly used children’s outdoor clothes\, shoes\, inclement-weather gear\, baby carriers and more will be available – free – for you to take home. Interesting in donating items to the swap? Bring them the day-of or look for donation bins at the Prairie Ridge entrance kiosk and the Nature PlaySpace shed beginning Saturday\, April 1 during Prairie Ridge’s open hours. \nThis is a free drop-in program beginning at 10:00am. While our Nature PlaySpace is designed for kids ages 7 and under\, all are welcome. As items included in the swap will be sourced through donations\, we do not guarantee the availability of specific sizes or types of items. \nFor more information\, contact Emma Blackford at emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org \nThis event is in partnership with the Longleaf Learning Collective.
