For this program we’ll take a walk through the forest and prairie and talk about how animals survive until spring. \nThis program is for ages 12 and up. DESCRIPTION:Come out and play! The Nature PlaySpace will be stocked with extra-special materials and supplies and a Museum play facilitator will be present to help you play your way. Supplies may vary from week to week\, but may include fun things like fort-building equipment\, puppets and costumes\, bubbles\, paint\, giant blocks and more. \nThis is a free\, drop-in event. Staff and supplies will be available from 10am to noon. Come dressed for the weather and ready to get messy! DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a special version of our Nature Stories program focusing on nature at night. We’ll begin at our fire pit below the Nature PlaySpace where we’ll gather and warm ourselves by the fire. Then we’ll read a book before engaging in some activities relating to the evening’s story. \nThis is a free program beginning at 5:30pm – registration is required. Register here! \nWhile we will have some seating around our fire pit\, feel free to bring blankets for picnic-style seating around our fire pit as well. Please come dressed for the weather and prepared to take a walk; we recommend bringing flashlights as well.
