SUMMARY:Winter Critters of Prairie Ridge Story Trail (in English and Spanish)
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our next Story Trail (modeled after StoryWalks®) featuring a variety of wildlife that you might see while exploring Prairie Ridge in the winter! With a “guess who?” component designed to engage young visitors\, this self-guided Story Trail will take you on a short walk around Prairie Ridge\, with all written components provided in both English and Spanish. \nThis self-guided Story Trail begins on the Prairie Trail right inside our entrance gates and is intended to be completed at your own pace. We recommend closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, and appropriate dress for the weather. Trails are mulch\, dirt\, or grass\, and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our youngest visitors. \nFor more information about StoryWalks® and Story Trails at Prairie Ridge\, please contact Emma Blackford at emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org or 919.707.8837. \nThe StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier\, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
