SUMMARY:Community Nature Reflections at Prairie Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Help us celebrate the nature experiences of the Prairie Ridge community! As you visit Prairie Ridge in the final weeks of 2022 and the start of 2023\, take a few minutes to stop by the table set up just inside our entrance gates. On a tree cookie\, share something that stands out to you about your experiences in nature or at Prairie Ridge throughout 2022. Did you have a meaningful wildlife encounter? Learn something new? Watch your child take their first steps in the Nature PlaySpace? Have a favorite program you attended? Whatever it is\, jot it down on your tree cookie! Once completed\, staff will add your reflection to the growing community reflection wall near our entrance. As you leave after your visit with us\, take a moment to stop and see some of the memories shared by other visitors as well! \nThis activity will be available during our open hours (Tuesday through Saturday\, 9am – 4pm) between December 17 and January 7 and is to be completed on your own time\, at your own pace. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to participate – drawings from our younger visitors (and others!) are welcome and encouraged. All materials will be provided. \nFor more information\, contact Emma Blackford at emma.blackford@naturalsciences.org
