SUMMARY:Intro to Nature Journaling
DESCRIPTION:Want to keep a nature journal but don’t know how to get started?  Join us for an introduction to nature journaling!  We’ll provide a kit to get you started\, including a journal and art and writing tools.  You’ll practice using them during the program as you complete your first few pages\, helping you get past the barrier of an empty blank book!  We’ll also cover why you should keep a nature journal and provide a list of prompts that will help you continue your journal after the program. \nThis program is intended for adults and requires pre-registration.  Register online here.  The $20/$18 (non-member/member) class fee covers the cost of your kit\, which you will take with you when you leave.  Please come dressed for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes.  Bring a filled water bottle.  A blanket or camp chair may be helpful for some portions of the program.  We will meet in the Outdoor Classroom\, a short three-minute walk down the gravel path into our grounds from the parking lot.

DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the firepit at Prairie Ridge to enjoy warm cider and donuts! We will take a hike around the property to see what wildlife is active at night. \nWhat to bring: A flashlight and your sense of adventure! Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, appropriate dress for the weather\, and bring a water bottle. Trails are mulch\, dirt\, or grass\, and small hills are included — trail strollers or baby carriers are recommended for our smallest visitors. \nSpace is limited. Current membership and preregistration required.  All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by a registered adult.  Not a member yet?
