SUMMARY:Lifelong Adventure: Topsail Island Sea Turtle Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Learn about sea turtles and possibly witness the hatching of sea turtles on Topsail Island.  Participants will spend evenings on the beach “nest sitting” — waiting for baby loggerhead sea turtles to leave their sandy nests.  Daytime hours can be spent swimming\, beach combing or catching up on sleep.  We will also visit the Topsail Sea Turtle Hospital to learn about their work in caring for sick and injured sea turtles. \nParticipants are responsible for motel reservations and costs.  Lodging information will be given upon completion of registration. \nPlease note: You will be required to enter the following information for each registrant before you can complete your registration: emergency contact\, physician contact and health information (allergies\, conditions\, medications relevant to this field experience). Take a moment to gather this information before beginning your registration. \nREGISTER FOR THIS TRIP \nIf the trip is full\, please email Missy Chernick to be added to the waitlist. \nRegistration deadline:  Friday\, July 22 at 12:30 PM. \nFor additional information about this trip and other Lifelong Hikes & Adventures\, contact Jerry Reynolds at 919.707.9884.
