DESCRIPTION:Dinosaurs might be the stars of the fossil world\, but lots of crazy and cool creatures lived here before dinosaurs ever walked the earth! Step back in time 290 million years ago to when amphibians\, reptiles and “synapsids” ruled the Earth\, and find out what caused all these critters to go extinct. The program will feature a sketch-along activity\, so come prepared with your paper and pens! Participants who send us pictures of their drawings will be entered into a raffle to win FOUR tickets to our special exhibition\, Life Before Dinosaurs: The Permian Monsters. \nRegister Now!\n\nNatural Science Classroom airs on YouTube Live once a month September-May. Programs include ASL Interpretation and live captioning. Programs are recorded and registrants can access previous topics. \nWe recommend this program for ages 8 and up\, but all ages are welcome. Parents and teachers are invited to participate with their children or students.
